Yippie! Mama and Kongkong were given 2 free cabins for Star Cruise to Port Klang, with compliments from MBS... The last round we went for a cruise together was to Phuket and Langkawi where I brought Mama and Kongkong in June 2006 and now it's their turn to bring us!!! Mama said this trip is to reward Amanda for doing reasonably well for her exams because she got 94 for both Maths and Chinese, though she didn't do so well for her English (Band 1 but not too satisfactory)... Thank goodness her SA1 English results were good... Haiz... I guess kids results at Pri 1 & 2 are not very stable and consistent... Hopefully, she will be more consistent in Pri 3...
What was the first thing we did when we boarded the ship??? Hahahha..... yes.... Checked into our room and then EEEAAATTTTT!!!! Typical Singaporeans right? We opted for Chinese dinner today... actually after this trip, I realise that Western food is much better than Chinese... Didn't feel it during my past cruises... or is it because there were many Caucasians on board today (equal number to Chinese)... but the most was Indians... hahaha!!! But it's a blessing in disguise, cos most of them are Vegetarians, so there wasn't any queue at the Chinese and Western restaurant... Most of them were on Deck 12 at the buffet table.... :)))
food was good, or probably we were famished... so everything tasted great!... lol!!.. amanda ate 2 bowls of porridge!!
