New Year's Eve and Fire Engine LEGO

Amanda has recovered from her fever and we can't wait to bring her out for a meal. We felt so imprisoned for the past 2 days when she was running a high fever and couldn't get out...  So today, we went to Crystal Jade at Ngee Ann City for lunch.
2 bowls of fish porridge for daddy and i... and 1 bowl of beef porridge for amanda...
my favourite soya bean milk...
we were entitled to a free lucky draw because we used hsbc card... and we won a complimentary box of christmas cupcake!!
we were surprised that it was a box of 6 cupcakes instead of just 1 piece...
close-up shot of cupcake using my dslr...

On another note, Amanda's Fire Engine LEGO from Santa was completed.  Since it was a 3-in-1 Creator, Daddy and Amanda decided to build a Jeep instead of the Fire Engine...
thank you santa for this lovely gift!  *winks*

LEGO Christmas House

Daddy and Amanda couldn't wait to complete their 3rd house.  So eager were they that they managed to complete it in less than 2 days!

sorting them out...
things she made all by herself before daddy stepped in to help her with the house...

can you see the cash register? isn't it cute?

Lego House From Hokkaido

Daddy bought Amanda a Lego house from Hokkaido.  They were so enthusiastic about building it and started on it the next day we returned from Hokkaido... and within 3 days the house was completed!!!  I have also posted photos at different stages of building....

The last time they built a house was on 22 November 2008, using old and odd bits and pieces of Lego which was passed down to Amanda for playing....  http://mypreciousbabe.blogspot.com/2008/11/lego-building-blocks.html

Hmm....  Looking back at the old post, I think Daddy has fulfilled his wish....  :)))

Lego Building Blocks

Daddy and Amanda have always enjoyed building Lego together...
This afternoon, we were too lazy to get out of the house shopping.... so Daddy and Amanda decided to stay home and build a HOUSE!
With the limited number of Lego pieces that we have.... Daddy and Amanda built a lovely house.... and this house, Daddy said, will represent our "Family LOVEHOUSE"..... haha.... Daddy's so sweet......
Now Daddy is looking to buy a very large LEGO set to build a more proper family LOVEHOUSE for the SIM family, instead of using the current "hand me downs" limited pieces.....
