Fun-Filled September...

Though this month is supposed to be a mugging month since SA2 is just round the corner, but it seems like it's an exceptionally fun-filled month for us... nothing much of studying done for my little darling.... gosh...

2 to 9 September....

lunch with cousin and ee ee at pepper lunch....

lunch at ah yat plus having fun watching doggies at play... and hey, we spotted a dog which looks like tinker...

lunch with kongkong, mama, darren and ee, followed by play with tinker at my house..

amanda playing doctor once again during kakak's bi-annual medical review...

misc : my mint and spring onion plant... time for mooncakes!... amanda playing vet to tinker... amanda preparing egg omelette for me.... :)

16 to 18 September...

lunch at ivins was yummilicious!

bought a yogurt maker... finally!... amanda making strawberry yogurt....

dinner at monkey cafe...

followed by johnny english movie and then supper at lau pa sat....  amanda trying to mimic johnny english...

brought tinkerbelle to the beach for her first swim...

20 September...

bought new play stuff for tinker... and as you can see, amanda is also having fun with it... lol!

24 September...

jarret's 1st birthday....

ema's first month. 25 September...

kakak's birthday... 26 sept...

tinker went for her sterilisation on 28 sept...

29-30 september.. tinker has friends over for play... yeah!

Letong's Birthday and Eat CURRY Day!

Amanda was invited to Letong's Golf Birthday Party in the afternoon, followed by dinner with Sonia... Incidentally, today was Eat Curry Day.. so we decided to have Indian food... hahaha....

it was almost 4pm by the time we went home to fetch daddy.... can you imagine we went all the way back to the east to have dinner with sonia and her daughters?  :p

the appetiser/starter tasted very special... sonia's 2 girls love it, but amanda and i didn't quite like it.... the dessert on the right was nice though...

hot and spicy night! food was delicious... even daddy who doesn't quite fancy indian food found it delicious....

ice cream at udders to coool us down... lol!!!  the girls later hopped over to the shop next door to watch border collies....

Just realised that the GEP Screening (Round 1) is 3 days' away i.e. 24 August 2011... Anyway, there's nothing much to prepare for it.... If you've got it, you've got it.... hehe....

ZH's Bday, Bro-in-Law & Durians!

10 July 2011 - Amanda attended ZH's birthday today... Apparently only 2 girls from the school were invited... The rest were boys...  It's much easier to buy pressies for girls than boys... I shopped for a long time before deciding on the Nike Haversack...

During the party, we received a phone call from Bro-in-law... Left the party early to fetch him over to our house before he returns to NZ...

a light snack at al-ameen as he had already taken his dinner...

we heated and toasted the youtiao for him to try....  and bro-in-law having a second cup of tea... this time tea halia, as he's missing it... the first cup at al-ameen was normal teh tarik... :)

12 July 2011 - Kongkong and Mama came over to deliver Rendang to us, and at the same time they bought us durians!

13 July 2011 - Decided to take out my "white elephant"... My Jack LaLanne's Juice Extractor I bought some 10 years ago... Machine's extremely silent and most importantly, I am able to put the entire apple in, without having to cut it up... and the pulp that comes out, is super dry, which means to say, the fruits are squeezed to the max for their juice... :))  Hmm, why didn't I take it out earlier?

as usual, she's curious about the extractor and wants to try using it!

Matthew's Birthday, Cedele & Imperial Restaurant

Amanda was invited to Matthew's birthday today... Easter Day!  In fact, she had received 3 invitations today... 2 Easter Parties and 1 Birthday Party... I chose to let her attend the birthday since I knew Matt's mum...  Unfortunately (or fortunately?), she was the only girl in the class to be invited... so she felt kinda bored during the partee...  LOL!!

Dinner was at Imperial Restaurant at Vivo City... We decided to dine here after Daddy saw some documentary that Crocodile meat was Healthy and Healing and that it was available at this restaurant...

we ordered double boiled crocodile soup, another type of double boiled soup (i cannot remember it's name but it was supposed to be good for the lungs, braised crocodile tail (super rich in collagen), egg white scallops, veg etc... for drinks, we ordered minty drink for the throat (amanda ordered this specially for her oral exam the following day, but the taste was quite horrid), hawthorn for me and 8 treasures tea for daddy...

dessert was good! osthamus... everything served in this restaurant is supposed to be healthy and comes with certain health benefits...

Kaela's Birthday, The Heart Bistro & Kim's Korean

We attended Kaela's 4th Birthday party on Saturday... How time flies. It seemed just a while ago when she was born, and now, here she is chatting away like a little adult...

Sunday Brunch at The Heart Bistro with Amanda.... our first time here, and we enjoyed the food, ambience and service so much... <3  Followed by dinner at Kim's Korean Restaurant...  Today's dinner wasn't too satisfactory. The food standard has dropped, and Daddy said his pork hotplate was slightly cold, when served too...  Also, when I asked if they would be serving us with fruits and my favourite cinnamon tea, the girl replied curtly "Yes, but you have to wait."...... What an answer!  Hmmm...  time to boycott this place for a while...
