Today is an outing full of fun, thrill and laughter... I had already bought the tickets online 3 weeks' ago as I am well aware that you will never be able to get the tickets if you queue in the morning on the same day... So to those who wanna go Universal Studios, please purchase the tickets online way way in advance... Eventhough I was still covered under hospitalisation leave, I still had to go, since tickets have already been purchased and at the same time, we didn't want to disappoint the girls... yes, Amanda and Huiting.... It doesn't matter if I couldn't take some of the rides, as most importantly, I had to be with them.... so off we were to Universal Studios early in the morning...

our first adventure.... the enchanted airways... the staff told us this was a kiddy roller coaster so we immediately rushed in... i never expected it to be so scary... this picture was taken after the ride... look at amanda's wobbly legs....
we still didn't know what we are in for.... hahaha..... i was trying to hold huiting with my left hand but my hand was still weak and i wasn't able to hold on tight to the rail too... ended up holding with just my right hand... eeww.... i was screaming from the beginning to the end, and i could hear amanda screaming at the back too... but huiting was really cool... and at the end of it, she told me her eyes were wide open throughout the ride.... wow, brave girl!... aunty alice's eyes were closed throughout!!
and we survived the ride!.... with jelly legs.... look at the girls... i hardly could walk in straight line too...
this was what we sat.... come to think of it, it wasn't really that high la, but the speed was like pheeew!!
next we rushed into the castle to watch shrek in 4d in the land of far far away....

too bad, we were so engrossed in joining the queue, we didn't see this warning was only realised we would get wet when we saw people weaaring ponchos and we started getting worried, but there was no turning back and also no where we could find a dispensing machine selling ponchos...

daddy had to hold on to the 2 girls quite tightly as it was quite high and the girls were afraid of falling.... i guess they must have realised it was sooo high only after climbing up... haha...

revenge of the mummy... daddy absolutely loves this... hahaha.... he sat twice... the first time alone and the second time with the 2 girls while i was waiting alone shopping.... i didn't dare sit this after hearing the staff tell me this is a high speed roller coaster in darkness... daddy says it's similar to disneyland's space mountain but much much better.....

We left Universal Studios for a while... brought Amanda to MOE for her audition... we returned to Universal Studios an hour later for more rides....

the girls waiting eagerly for their drinks.... it's actually the universal studios water bottle that attracted them... i bought them the lanyard to go with the bottle so that they could just sling the bottle across their shoulder or round their neck...

the girls went on to take the accelerator ride again whilst daddy and i waited and snacked...

battlestar galatica.... ride was opened in feb for a few days when they experienced technical security issues and the rides had to be closed till now.... daddy can't wait to conquer this ride!!!... red track runs at 90km/hr and the blue track turns you around 360 degrees hanging you upside down... eeeww....

and they went for another ride on the roller coaster... huiting's really brave... i think in all, she sat the enchanted airways 4 times....
We had so much fun that Daddy decided to buy the Annual Fun Pass for 3 of us.... We have been to the Universal Studios in the States, but we thought the Singapore version was quite fun... It will be nice to have the pass and be able to enter the park as and when we like (other than the certain block-out dates) to even come in for a meal....

the food was very filling and we couldn't stomach the desserts... i was actually eyeing their yam paste with gingko nuts served with ice cream... huiting's stomach wasn't too well, so i thought it was best to skip the cold dessert as the girls were eyeing something cold (cannot remember what)....
amanda was so sleepy after her stomach was filled....
we waited for huiting to finish her bowl of rice while.....

our dear darling was catching her beauty nap.... aiyo, can you imagine she's able to sleep under such conditions?... noisy and sitting with her head nodding and almost "dropping".... hahahah....
after the meal....
a final round of fun at the water fountain before heading to the rws gift shop and watching the musical fountain before we call it a day....
back home, the girls continued with the fei ji qi.... it's already close to midnight... look at how fresh they look despite running around and playing since morning....
We had a very enjoyable outing today.... Amanda was even more so since she had Huiting for company at Universal Studios.... We are also so happy that Daddy has bought the Annual Pass... we can now enter USS anytime we wish and make up for those rides that I had missed when I am fully recovered...... YES!!!
