Wishing all Buddhists a Happy Vesak Day.... and we started the day with a Buddhist meeting for all Mothers.... Mothers are the SUN of the family... hmmm... so very true....
Yeah!!!.... Kongkong is coming back from Australia today... He was away for 3 weeks for work purpose...
We decided to give him a surprise by turning up at the airport without informing him... Before fetching him, we brought Mama and the kids to Resorts World... why I suggested RWS was because since Kongkong is back, their group of friends (including Ee Poh) have planned to meet at the IR for a mini gathering the next day... Another reason for their IR gathering was also because Mama's good friend has her group of relatives coming from Indonesia to visit the IR... oh, can you imagine the large group of senior citizens going into the Casino?.... heehee...

the popular spot for photo-taking....
world's largest chocolate bar....
we entered USS to buy for darren the water bottle... i bought him the lanyard too... hey, not bad, using my annual pass for the 2nd time... amanda was elated!
magnum gold.... mmmmmm.........
and more gold....
ee ee and her favourite chocs... when she was young, we used to tease her that she should marry the boss of a chocolate factory or provision store owner where she can devour all the chocs she wants... heehee...
looking at this photo, i realised that i had some difficulty in lifting my left hand that day... but it was bearable and the outing had to go on since we had already promised mama this outing and also to fetch kongkong from the airport... filial piety.... ahem ahem...
we proceeded to hanis at budget terminal arrival hall for set dinner... very cheap and good food... note : the hanis at departure hall doesn't serve set meal, so if you want set meals, you've got to walk to arrival hall.... mama has been wanting to eat at the hanis here since november last year... she says the other hanis taste different... haha...
the set meal included main course, soup, garlic toast, drinks and fruits... very good deal....
mama was famished and carving for laksa.... so we ordered this ala-carte laksa.... taste was ok, but cannot be compared to the laksa at newton food centre...
mama, darren and i order fish and chips as our main course....
amanda and ee ee ordered spaghetti... amanda with sausage and ee ee with chicken...
The cousins had so much fun at the tid-bits vending machine at the terminal.... Amanda bought each of us a packet of goody/snacks. Amanda and Darren each bought Kongkong a packet of nuts as welcome gift at the airport... how cute of them... Amanda was well prepared as she had brought her wallet along... :))
After dinner, we drove over to Terminal 1 to fetch Kongkong since he was arriving via Qantas....
kiddoes were happy with the cards they bought... with compliments from mama....
patiently waiting for kongkong to walk out from belt 17....
hello kongkong!!!... kongkong was so cute, he called all our mobiles and nobody dared to answer for fear of letting the cat out of the bag... in the end kongkong called my mobile... hahaha... guess we couldn't hide further....
welcome back kongkong.... we miss you sooo much!!!....
kongkong and mama with their lovely grandchildren....
What a wonderful and meaningful day today.... *smiles*.....
