Hokkaido Winter Wonderland, Days 6 & 7

Times flies... We have reached Day 6 of our tour.  I am going to combine the post for Day 6 and Day 7 together since we didn't take much pictures on Day 6.  Day 6 started with "shopping" for seafood at Sapporo Nijo Seafood Market followed by shopping at Daimaru and then at Chitose Factory Outlet Mall Mitsui (Rera)...  So how can we have time for photos when all our energy was channeled to shopping?...  heehee....We rushed to the airport for our domestic flight from Sapporo to Nagoya at night after Rera Mall!!!  Nothing much done on Day 7 since we were traveling...  So here it goes....

P/S : Please disregard the date on the photos as I just realised the date is behind by 1 day....  :)))
family photo at the lobby when we went to put our luggages before breakfast...
amanda and i drank loads of hokkaido milk these few days... heehee...
daddy eating eggs with chopsticks??!!
playing in the snow for a while...

Off to Sapporo Station Shopping Arcade and Daimaru....
so that's the way they "advertise" for wanted criminals??!!...  haha!!!
going outside for a breather...  air's so much fresher than in the mall...
we saw this convenience store selling cakes/breads and decided to buy some back for tonight in case we get hungry in the hotel room... heehee...
how interesting! the cheese cake has a map of hokkaido on it!!
didn't buy much at daimaru... couldn't find anything to buy cos we could find most of them in singapore...
it was snowing quite heavily when we were about to walk to the coach...
my Courrèges glove i bought from daimaru...
playing in the snow for a while before going up the coach....
snow snow snow.....
can you see the heavy snowfall?
thank you aunty janie for buying that cute little santa mochi (i think?) for amanda... by the way, the other 3 belonged to huiting and her siblings.. amanda borrowed them for photo-taking... heehee...

Susikino for Sapporo Ramen...  Susukino by day....
the restaurant where we ate our ramen....
can you see daddy's hand? wonder why he raised his hand and finger...  hahaha...

Taking turns to slurp our ramen noisily...  trying to see who can make the loudest SLURP!  LOL!!!

daddy...
mummy...

and amanda...
(left) 2 pieces of pork and 2 pieces of scallops on the ramen...  oishii...  (right) gyoza...
can you believe amanda actually finished the entire bowl of ramen within like.... minutes??!!
finishing up everything to the last drop?!?!
oishii!!!

After lunch, we headed to Chitose Factory Outlet Mall Mitsui aka RERA...

the daddies were babysitting the kids whilst we mummies were busy shopping... heeheehee....  :))
look at the satisfied and happy mummies...  hmmm...  but we regretted not buying more though...
the kids chose their preferred alphabets and sat above them...
we chanced upon legoland here... thanks to kaijun who led the whole group into the shop... and daddy got so excited about lego... can you see he was already right in front looking for stuff?
daddy bought this for amanda, which got her so elated!

paying for it with a 10,000 yen note...

giving daddy a "thank you" kiss...muacks!!!
the happy kids...
mango bubble tea with pearls...
sitting here killing time....

Dinner at this restaurant within RERA factory Outlet before we rushed to the airport for our domestic flight from Sapporo to Nagoya...

(left0 i loved this dessert... a pity the serving was so small...  (right) chilli padi!!!! how rare and precious here!!!

we had prawns, fish, chicken wings, tofu, veg, soup, gyoza, deep fried breaded oysters etc...
(left) at the airport...  bidding goodbye to hokkaido...  (right) bidding goodbye to our tour guide, egawa...

the onigiri here is not as nice as taiwan's.. surprising eh?
daddy's ramen...  yumzz!
(left) our hokkaido french fries...  hmm.. regretted not buying more of these...  very yummy!  (right) swiss roll made of bean curd... seems interesting but it tastes mediocre...

Day 7..... At Nagoya....
we were greeted by a beautiful sunrise...
all set for breakfast and luggages all ready...
breakfast cafe...
i didn't like the breakfast food at all!!  (right) amanda returning the tray after eating...
clear blue skies in nagoya with temperature of a cool 15 deg cel...
(left) see! i have changed into my new coach bag...  my very first coach bag...  haha...  (right) daddy feeling all relaxed and deliberately "airing" his foot...
amanda looks kinda superimposed here...  haha... funny!...
our flight...  sq 671...
flight was only one-third full...  by the way, we do not behave this way when we travel on business trips...  traveling with family gives one a relaxed and happy feeling; hence this behaviour...  haha....
amanda's child meal which she didn't get to eat... i loved the bun on the right... some custard thingy...
both of us wanted chinese meal but they ran out of it... hence i took japanese.. thank goodness it was delicious... daddy took the chicken set (not from the standard menu)...
yummy hokkaido ice cream for dessert...
the friendly japanese stewardess asked amanda to come here and sit at her special seat...
she even offered to take a family photo for us....
oops! the flight arrived at terminal 2 whereas our car was parked at terminal 3 where we departed from...
one last shot before we went separate ways with janie and family..
taking sky train from T2 to T3...
amanda all comfortable in mummy's car...

With that, we ended our 7 Days Hokkaido tour which we absolutely enjoyed...  Time really flies when one is having fun!!!  Hmmmm...  now....  where shall we go for our next holiday???  Heeheehee....

BACK HOME.....

The moment we reached home, unloaded our luggages and after Daddy showered, we headed straight to EAT for Bar Chor Mee... and Daddy even ordered a bowl of Laksa!!  Gosh, makes me wonder if we were away for 7 days or 7 years!!...  lol!!!
enjoying our meal while kakak unpacked our luggages at home...  can you imagine when we returned home, all the luggages were cleared and kept back to original position?...  haha....
daddy was craving for duck porridge too... hence tea-time here the next day on 11 Dec!!... lol!  see what i mean by the 7  days and 7 years joke?

RANDOMS... decided to put a picture of this up to remind myself of the packaging for my future reference...
bought the famous 白色恋人 and this lavender chocolate langue de chat...  i actualy prefer the lavender choc as the lavender smells and tastes heavenly...  mmm... absolutely relaxing and therapeutic....
