7 Days Hokkaido Winter Wonderland, Day 3

Early morning call today as we've got to squeeze in Jogokudani aka Hell Valley which we didn't manage to cover yesterday as the sky turned dark at 4pm during this season...  We also covered Noboribetsu Date Jidai Mura, Edo Village, Lake Toya, Mount Showa followed by Bear Ranch.  Wooo... full packed but very satisfying since we managed to cover so many places and yet still have our own free time to ourselves by late afternoon early evening...  how nice...  perfect tour!

We woke up late. So had only like 15 mins for breakfast... but thank goodness we were smart enough to bring down our luggages so that we had more time for breakfast...  haha....
rushing through breakfast... but still managed to find time to take photos...  heehee....
hokkaido lychees....  black in colour?? but really sweet and juicy...
(left) this way to the onsen please....  (right) xmas tree at the lobby...
pulling luggages downslope to the coach...
all fresh and ready for today's activity

JOGOKUDANI aka HELL VALLEY.....  a sulphurous boiling pond which reminded me of the Geysers in Rotorua, North Island in New Zealand...
can you see the loooong boardwalk we had to walk, coupled with the uphills and downslopes?... what an early morning exercise! thank goodness for the cold weather... and guess what, i actually perspired in the cold winter morning of 2 deg cel!!
(left) toilet... notice their signs... cute eh?
our first group photo, which i thought was very nice... so decided to enlarge it on this post...
scenery taken from the coach...

Noboribetsu Date Jidai Mura, Edo Village......
the 4 kids...  it is very difficult to get all 4 of them to focus on one camera because at all times, there will be 4 photographers (2 daddies and 2 mummies... haha) taking pictures of them and saying "look here"... poor kids... getting all confused who to listen first...  lolz!!
our entrance tickets
北海道美人 meaning hokkaido beauty...
my very unglam and sweaty look... perspired so much running to catch up with the group...  we were always lagging behind because we stopped to take photos... which the tour guide said to do so only after the show...  haha!!!
amazing NINJA feats which we find very entertaining...
rushing for the next show....  the GEISHA performance...  daddy and i enjoyed this performance very much!
removing our stinky boots....
distributing the "white paper" for us to place our coins in it as a token of appreciation and this wrapped coin was supposed to be thrown on stage from our seats at the end of the performance...
putting our coins onto the paper...
can you see my wrapped coin???
some fun shots while waiting for show to start...

With that, we ended Day 3 of our tour...

We covered so much today and we enjoyed ourselves very much... and what Daddy and I love about this tour is that we still had some free time to ourselves every day as the tour will end around 3-4pm every day leaving us with our own time to explore or rest in the room...  Hmmm....  where to find a tour that gives you free time too?....  Purrfect!!!!
