HT and KJ came over to our house today and the kids had so much fun playing together, especially during the outings when they visited the Fish Farm for fishing, Animal Farm to feed the various animals and then to West Coast Park for some exercise and fresh air....

we had some workers over at our house for urgent repair of our leaking pipe which caused our bill to shoot to a 4-figure sum... hence everybody was quite excited watching them dig...
2 of them were exceptionally curious...
we had intended to stay at home for various games, until when the contractor said he had to switch off the main water pipe, where we decided that it would be very convenient to stay at home especially with 3 kids around... haha... hence the last minute outing; which the kids so enjoyed!

simple lunch... beef spaghetti and "octopus" with orange juice.... and we set off for our outing...
arrival at the fish farm...
walk around the indoor and outdoor aquarium to learn more about fishes...
getting ready for their fishing....
all kinds ot position and styles to catch the fishes...

see what i mean?... haha!!
the in-charge was very sweet, he gave each of them a bag of fishes to bring home, eventhough we only managed to catch 1 fish each... i said "we" because it was daddy who caught the 3 fishes for them... none of them was able to catch any fish today as there wasn't much fishes around plus the fishes were all too scattered for the kids to catch...
satisfied with their fishes, except amanda, who was a little unhappy she didn't manage to catch even a single fish by herself...
tea break before animal farm... they were not hungry, so they chose drinks instead....
we bought vegetables for feeding the goats...
next, we bought food for feeding the rabbits! kj was busy distributing it to the girls...
huge prawns which some youngsters caught during prawning... and they were so kind to allow amanda and kj hold it to take pictures...
