Melbourne Day 6

Woohoooo....  I am loving every bit of my vacation....  Hardly have such relaxing schedule when we are on holidays...  It's usually either we join tours with early morning calls and full day sight-seeings, or self-drive with planned itineraries where we check in and out of various hotels (because each place is a few hours away) and drive around different cities/towns up north / down south etc....  But this time it's different!  Staying in the same hotel and same room for 8 nights!  How convenient!

Daddy went for a short meeting in the morning before they went for an early business lunch...  Amanda and I met him after lunch and we met up with Joan, who so kindly brought us (actually, for Amanda) to the Children's Farm....  I wasn't too keen in farms anyway, but what to do, for the sake of my little darling....

Pictures below taken by Daddy using his camera....
this picture is cute... daddy told me he was shocked when she put her hands round his arm... anyway, these are street actors... there was some kind of performance that day; which explains their elaborate dressing....
Photos taken by Amanda and I whilst Daddy was out for work and business lunch...
swanston street....
at one point of time, we got quite bored waiting for daddy... so decided to compare our boots while enjoying the cool breeze and listening to the street performers....  :)

and she saw boost, her favourite drink!
slurp slurp....
after seeing subway for so many days, we finally decided to try it here...  but amanda wasn't pleased with their service at all...  look at her giving the "thumbs down"...  lol...  everything was served cold... they didn't even bother to ask if we wanted to warm it, and they were so eager to get us off the queue....  hmph!!

(left) finally met daddy...  (right) daddy and hiep taking a final picture before he rushes off to the airport for sydney...

We were off to Collingwood Children's Farm with Joan......
one of the few family photos during this trip....
daddy took a picture of this as he found it so cute that they placed this basket at the entrance of the farm...
fat cat!

amanda has always wanted to be a vet as she loves animals... but she was kind of scared when she carried the guinea pig and she said "that's it...  i don't wanna be a vet anymore"...  haha strange right, especially since she used to have a puppy...
the guinea pig she carried earlier was called OREO... as in the oreo cookies... haha...
i'm surprised that the horse has got blue eyes...  hmmm...  caucasian horses?
3 little lambs...
one of them was sick and was getting his daily dose of injection...  poor thing....

greta and her 7 piglets...
they were told to pat the cow for just a few seconds as she was about to be milked...  daddy and amanda didn't listen and kept patting it...  and guess what...

SEE BELOW....
the cow pee'd with a loud splash... and both daddy and amanda were quick enough to dodge it...  everyone teased them saying that the cow was trying to "punish" them...  heehee...

Back to the mall near our hotel.....
we were amazed to see the wide variety of soups they have here...
(left) enjoying her subway cookies...  (right) daddy's new found love...  schweppes lemonade...
i love their sushi... really delicious...
look at my tan...  can't stand it... it's been 2 weeks since i got burnt at universal studios and still not able to regain my complexion...  haiz....
enjoying room service and minibar while watching their in-house paid movie, "the spy next door"...  we missed this show at the movies, so decided to watch now...  show was good and we enjoyed it a lot...
our laundry area...  a washing machine and dryer...
