We had an early Father's Day dinner today as Kongkong and Mama will be out of town on the actual day next week... Since all of us have never been to Marina Bay Sands, I decided that we will have buffet dinner at Rise Restaurant in Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Hotel....
As our car approached the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the Car Jocky to do Valet parking... Service was excellent... We were early for dinner, so we walked around the hotel, shopping area and towards the Casino... I have heard so much about MBS being part of the Sands group and how nice it was etc. However, it fell below my expectation as the flooring and walls were not impressive and not very well polished (I thought)... It was no where near Las Vegas....

mama didn't have the chance to get into the casino today... so here she is playing the jackpot machine on my iphone.... heeheehee... no fish, prawn also can..... oh by the way, she hit the jackpot many times on my iphone... how nice if it is real.... :)

my favourite sashimi... there was soooo much food but i didn't take a picture of the food at the counters as i was busy taking my food and couldn't bother to bring my camera along....

next amanda ate fishball kuay teow... her choice of food weren't very wise though... all the carbo which later she didn't have much space for other more interesting food....

we stayed around for quite a while since the ambience inside the restaurant was quite nice...

and she shook hands with kongkong, wishing him a happy father's (grandfather's) day.... can you see the joy on kongkong's face?....
and finally, a really big hug for daddy..... happy daddy's day!.....
and... it was my dinner treat for them... happy fathers' day.....

we sat in this lounge while waiting for our car to be driven to us....
this ticket must be presented in exchange for our car....

and back home... amanda, all ready with her luggage to stay at kongkong and mama's house.... she was holding darren's birthday present in her hand...
