Daddy & Mummy On A Dinner Date

Amanda is away on a "holiday" at Kongkong & Mama's house...  so that leaves just the two of us 老夫老妻 alone at home.....  I was still in the office when Daddy called me to inform that he has asked our domestic helper not to cook dinner and that he will be at home waiting for me for our dinner date....  Ooooh...  how sweet of Daddy....  *smiles contentedly*.....

A pity I had to work late...  I reached home around 9 pm, so we couldn't go anywhere far...  haiz....  no romantic candlelight dinner for us today....  We ended up at Old Town White Coffee for dinner...  somewhere near and convenient since it was already so late...  Moreover, I always prefer to have Amanda with us whenever we try new food places....

Nonetheless, our simple dinner date turned out very relaxing as we remininsed the good ole days and how we met each other 22 years ago....  how time flies....  :))

as usual, daddy ate his favourite nasi rendang chicken...

i decided to go for the ipoh chicken hor fun today...  this used to be my all-time favourite, but i have stopped eating this for a while since this year...  and my favourite iced white coffee to perk me up (if you can see from the picture that i look very tired)......

daddy and his all-time favourite omega 3 half-boiled eggs....

I just realised that Old Town White Coffee has increased the prices of their food by quite a fair bit...  For example, their Nasi Rendang Chicken used to cost either S$5 plus or S$6 plus (cannot remember exactly how much), but now it costs S$8.50!  The Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun used to be S$5 plus but now S$6.20...  The eggs were S$1.80 but now S$2.10 and the Iced Coffee was S$2.20 but now S$2.50!!!  The price has gone up by so much especially the food.... 

Oh I'm so gonna boycott Old Town White Coffee for a while...
