Family Bonding

Yippie!  I am on leave today, so it's another family bonding time for us today!!!... 

Daddy had to work in the morning, so I brought Amanda out for brekkie at Burger King...  However, as it was raining so heavily in the morning, it was a little difficult for us to wake up early...  so by the time we arrived at BK, it was 11am...  When it was my turn at the queue, I asked if they still had breakfast... and the lady said she only has breakfast for 1!  Phew, I was so happy cos we were here specially for the breakfast and Amanda will be so disappointed if she couldn't get BK breakfast....  So I got 1 breakfast set and 1 normal set....  at least better than nothing right?...  heehee...

i bought this book on cupcakes...  can't wait to start baking again....

We did some shopping after breakfast and returned home shortly to wait for Daddy to finish work...  but before Daddy came back, I dropped by Vicom for my car inspection and to renew my road tax (without Amanda, of course)...  and after running my errands, Daddy was home to bring us out!.. but before we left for USS, we dropped my car off for servicing..  I left my car there overnight and collected it only the next morning....

yeah, daddy is back!!!....

We decided to bring Amanda to Universal Studios... but before that, Daddy had to drop by the bank first....

i was lazy to climb on the animals during the first round...  so i sat in the "cart" behind them...  it was really fun...  i never expected a carousel to be this fun...  it must be the loud music which makes us feel so child-like and forgetting all our worries....  but it was a little too short...  ended within few minutes...

amanda was really very happy today...  you will notice the joy in all her photos now and other photos below...

amanda and i decided to go for another ride on the carousel while daddy went over to take the roller coaster...

she tried this... but didn't quite like it, so she changed to another...

we had so much fun!....

taking a break...  it was quite funny to see so many people sitting on the curb resting...  and we joined in the crowd....

she tasted the dandan noodles and eventually chose zha jiang noodles...  look at her cheeky face...

daddy's pork with vermicelli.....  portion was quite small though....

see!  we finished all our noodles...

amanda enjoyed it too.. and she told me she never expected yam paste to taste so good...

we were shocked to see the large crowd outside waiting to get into the restaurant when we finished our dinner....

amanda needed to use the washroom... so instead of walking to the one at chillis, we decided to use the restroom inside uss which was nearer....

after playing around for a while, we decided to try the membership department again, to see if it was still crowded....

daddy doesn't own any genting card, so he got a rws card which could be used in both genting and rws plus he got to take a new photo...  i already have a genting card in their system, so my rws card was only for use in rws... but worse of all, i couldn't take a new photo... had to use the one i took in genting...  this was taken few years ago before i did my lasik...

and....  we parked at the red zone today!!!...  how nice....  thanks to mama who lent me her card....  :))

My annual leave was well spent and worth it as it was a very enjoyable outing and we enjoyed and treasured every moment of our family bonding together, especially since school was going to reopen in 2 days' time...
