On Another Date!

Happy Birthday Darren!....  Today is Darren's birthday so Kongkong came over to fetch Amanda in the afternoon, on his way home from work as they were celebrating his birthday over dinner with Kongkong, Mama, EeEe, Ee Teoh, Ee Poh & family etc....

Daddy and I couldn't make it as we both were working and thus not able to reach home early before 6ish....  But before she left for Kongkong's house, here's a picture of her at the Pet Shop...  I received this from her via MMS and it really brightened my day...  I always enjoy receiving MMSes from my little darling....

daddy brought her to the pet shop at bukit timah plaza...  when i received this mms, i was staring hard at it and thought to myself...  why and how did my darling end up in a pet shop?!....  :)

I smsed Daddy about Amanda's little birthday party, and Daddy immediately told me to inform our maid not to cook dinner...  and we are off for another date!  Not anywhere far or anything fanciful because Amanda would be sent home early before 9 pm....  So tonight, we decided to have our dinner at IMM...  didn't want to go to town as the traffic there would be so heavy and no point getting caught in the jam...

Both of us were enjoying our dinner and I SMSed Kongkong telling them to take their time and enjoy their meal before sending Amanda home, cos both Daddy & I were out on a date...  My sis told me everyone at the table laughed when they saw my SMS... 

However, by 9.15 pm, Mama called me to say that they have just dropped Amanda home...  I was like "Huh? So fast?"...  but we continued to enjoy our meal since she is in good hands of our maid...  By the time we reached home around 10 pm, she has already taken her shower and was in pyjamas....

Amanda was reading my blog tonight whilst Daddy & I dozed off on the sofa while watching TV....  and when I woke up, she told me "Mummy, you wrote in your earlier post that you don't like to try new places without me, then why did you try this Steamboat without me?  Eeee, bluff one...  not fair!".... 

OMG faintz....  She must have read the other dinner date post when Daddy and I went for Korean BBQ....  hahaha!
