Our Saturday began with our usual weekly routine....
i'm very surprised that amanda's taking chilli very well and was able to take this spicy tom yang kung.... she ended up eating half of my glass noodles and even tricked me into finishing her fish and chips!.....
Later in the evening after dinner, we drove to Suntec City as Daddy needed to collect his complimentary photographs taken during last week's Company dinner... An impromptu trip to Suntec ended up being such an enjoyable one... We walked around Suntec City mall after collecting Daddy's photo and Amanda wanted to stop by the Fountain of Wealth as there was so much hype....
lovely lightings with complimentary song and word dedication... and the dj played really great songs....
amanda was having her attack of toothache again the moment we arrived suntec... which explains why she couldn't smile....
We became hungry after walking around the mall, and decided to try Muthu's Curry for supper since we were not able to try it in Little India 2 weeks ago.... Ambience was not bad, but the service from one of the Manager sucks.... He ought to be re-trained on Service Excellence!
the menu...
daddy enjoying his papadum (not too sure if the spelling is correct, but it sure sounds like "papa dumb")... hahaha!!!
masala tea to start off the meal... the cinnamon stick was used as a stirrer/spoon....
our muthu fish head curry with plain naan.... yumzzz!!
the fish head curry's awesome and daddy enjoyed it so much....
amanda enjoyed the meal so much too.... much to our surprise since the curry was spicy!... and guess what, her toothache was gone the moment she ate the fish head curry!!!.... so.... cure for toothache?.... muthu's fish head curry... heehee....
eeewww!!! do you see a pair of fish eyes on the banana leaf?.....
toothache's gone, and baby's now able to smile happily!! yeah!!
that was a good shot baby!... she managed to capture the shot of daddy feeding me with the fish....
daddy fed amanda some fish too....
daddy's kissing the fish!!!
look at how clean daddy has eaten the fish?... poor fish.... daddy's really very "ngeow"......
daddy and i *heart* the flowers.... by the way, daddy was the one who asked me to take a close-up view of the flowers :)
muthu's curry!.... thumbs up!!!
After the meal as we were about to walk back to the carpark, we noticed a lot of people walking around the Fountain of Wealth... It seemed very fun and Daddy and Amanda wanted to join in the fun.... We were quite lucky as we managed to be the last group to walk round the fountain before it closes at 10.00 pm..... I was quite reluctant to go as the weather outside was really warm, but it was a good thing I changed my mind in the last minute.... The feeling was very magical!!! We loved that feeling... the sounds from the water fountain, the feeling of cool water in your hands plus the wonderful music which was being played.... For that moment, we felt as if we were in a world of our own.... Wonderful!!!
amanda was the first to run towards the fountain....
we were supposed to walk clockwise 3 times, touch the water with our right hand, and silently make a wish....
enjoying every moment of that magical feeling....
daddy's first attempt at our family photo... notice amanda's face (not fully in the picture)....
daddy's second attempt... obviously he is not very good at this!... look at amanda's face...
and finally.... a perfect shot!... guess who's the photographer?.... *coughs coughs*... ahem!!.... it's meeeee!!!
guess what amanda told me when we left the fountain??!!... she said "mummy, i forgot to make a wish!".... hahaha!! that was really hilarious!... so i told her to close her eyes in front of this sign, and make her wish, and she did.... *smiles*.....
We thoroughly enjoyed today's outing, especially the last few minutes.... never expected the Fountain of Wealth to bring us so much fun and happiness during just the few minutes when we were walking around it.... It's definitely worth trying!!!..... and what's more.... it's free of charge!!!
