How time flies... Term 1 is over and today is the Teacher-Parent Conferencing session in school.... We are very lucky to have Mrs J Wong as her Form Teacher, as she's super motivating and super helpful even during the session... Amanda's Form Teacher said that her grades have slackened due to her complacency and it was her complacency that has caused her "mini downfall"... downfall as in the grades la... haha!!.... Wa, she sounded so serious man.... but we were very appreciative and today's session was indeed an awakening for Amanda... and at the end of the extremely long and detailed session, she even gave Amanda a big hug of re-assurance.... how sweet of Mrs Wong... :))
Amanda's Chinese Teacher was also very concerned for Amanda and she told us Amanda could have done better for her Higher Chinese, despite getting 92.5 for her grades.... Oh dear... she has such high expectations of Amanda... *sweats*.... She also said that Amanda's work was affected as she was over helpful to one of her classmates who requires "special attention", and thus neglecting her own school work.... Sigh... We have always taught her to be kind and helpful towards others... but then again, there must be a balance and she should not be doing it at her own expense... haiz.... baby baby.... you must learn to think for yourself too....
We are also re-considering if she should be in the Table-Tennis School team. Currently, she goes for trainings on Mondays and Saturdays and the Coach is asking her to increase the intensity to Wednesdays and Fridays... Moreover, she has Science Expression on Tuesdays... which means she will be in school in the mornings almost everyday of the week and she will be too tired to do anything when she returns home in the evening...... Ok, enough said about her CA1..... now for the pictures...

incidentally, amanda received her very first pay cheque for acting in the movie "being human"... very small amount but then this is her very first salary and she's very proud of herself... not bad ya?....
Next week's gonna be a super busy week for me... Busy because, my old maid will be going back and I need to send her off to the airport... Need to send new maid to the agent for MOM documentation. Need to ensure that new maid is coping well and guide her along etc.... I'm keeping my fingers cross and hope things will turn out well for me.... *crosses fingers and toes*.... hahaha!!! At the same time, I hope to spend some quality time and bonding with my precious babe during her school hols.... :)
