I fetched my new maid from the agent after work today... Whilst at the agent, Amanda called my mobile and told me "Mummy, I've got bad bad news for you!"... My heart sank when I heard that as I knew it was her results!.... :( Her Higher Chinese was ok at 92.5%; acceptable for Pri 2... but her English and Maths grades were NOT acceptable to our standards... a far cry from her 96 marks during last year's SA2 Maths... Her English grades have slackened too... Sigh.... Her English Enrichment Centre is FIRED!!!
Babe, you better pull up your socks, otherwise, there'll be no "HOPE" for you and you will be "HUMILIATED".... (notice I'm playing around with the Class names....)... haha!!
amanda and her 2 kakak.... the new kakak simply adores her... and to my pleasant surprise, this new maid can read the entire english princess storybook to amanda!... hmmm, not bad for an indonesian......
Amanda told me there was a book fair in school today... and I gave her S$20 for books.....
the 2 books that she bought today... another 2 books to add on to her collection of unread books.... sigh.... she simply enjoys buying and collecting books, but has never completed reading them....
Later at night, we went for supper at Ah Mei Cafe @ Rail Mall...
i'm getting addicted to roti pratas... better pull the brakes man.... i can feel the pounds creeping back... arghh!!!
I'm so happy that the weekends are here again! Yippie!!! It's gonna be a long weekend for me as I am on leave this Monday to guide my maids.... Anyway, I am giving them 2 weeks' handover so that the outgoing maid can fully guide the new one, and totally ease me from the training....
Oh dear... Babe is complaining of toothache again.... I better go tend to her.... Adios!!!
