Just For FUN!

As the title of this post says....  this post is just for FUN, with photos taken just for FUN too....  hahaha....

introducing this kiwiberry from new zealand....  tastes really great!....  daddy bought it when he was doing the weekly grocery on a weekday....

we drove out to bukit timah market to buy chicken wings for amanda....  and then detour to west coast for roti prata and my teh tarik...  all of a sudden, we were wondering why it was all so quiet at the back of the car.... we turned around and guess what?....  my babe was happily eating the chicken wings at the back....  :))

amanda and huiting on the way to science expression....  as usual, both girls were a little zombied, first thing in the morning... and needed a while before they warmed up...  and this is usually after the drive through at king albert park macdonalds...  hmm...  must be the aroma of the hash browns.....

Chloe's & Charlene's Birthday

Amanda has been invited to Chloe and Charlene's Birthday party today...  As usual, Amanda's always very happy and excited whenever she receives a birthday invitation.

Daddy and I also had some time to ourselves as we took a stroll to the nearby Lot 1...  We haven't gone to this mall for shopping especially with the weekend crowds for ages and today was a good opportunity since our car was already parked at the open space carpark at the party....

Look what I got for Amanda at Lot 1.........

little miss naughty t-shirt....  i thought it is sooo cute, and amanda looks so cute in it too....  :))  i also bought a little miss helpful for her, a denim dress and a denim skirt....

Amanda enjoyed herself very much during the party and she brought back lots of goodies from the party too... she especially loves the giraffe that she got.... :))

However, after the party, she told us she was hungry and wanted us to bring her for Teochew porridge again...  OMG, it must be an excuse for us to bring her for her favourite Teochew porridge....  haha....

the dishes were chosen by her (excluding the bittergourd).......

i was craving for coffee... hence after supper, i went to the nextdoor muslim coffeeshop to take-away a packet of coffee...  a pity i ordered less sweet but they forgot to follow my order, and yucks, instead it was toooo sweet....  absolutely an overdose of sugar....  and i couldn't finish the packet of coffee....  the guy must have misheard it as MORE sweet instead of LESS sweet.......

We later managed to have some family bonding time in the garden, as the weather was exceptionally cooling that night....  quite rare for Singapore's hot and humid climate....

Muthu's Flavors @Dempsey...

Oh dear...  I realise that I am always blogging about food....  but what to do?  Eating is one of Singaporeans' favourite past time, isn't it?....  haha!!!....

Daddy suggested having Muthu's Curry at Dempsey for lunch today...  our first time here but certainly a very good experience.  We had tried the one at Suntec and got quite addicted to it....  Hence we drove to Dempsey... and silly us, we saw the large signboard outside which reads "Samy's Curry" and parked our car there and went into the restaurant...  The setting seemed different with very normal looking tables and chairs and it seems like the Indian version of "Mixed Vegetable Rice"...  I asked the waitress if Samy's Curry is under the same management as Muthu's Curry and they said "it is something like that"....  hah, what an answer...  Luckily one of the waiter was kind enough to tell us that Muthu's Curry was right inside and he mentioned Block 8...  so off we went looking for it....

After some turns, we finally found it!!...  Actually it was Amanda who spotted it from afar!....  haha....  So the name of this restaurant's called The Muthu's Flavors at Block 7 Dempsey Road...  Muthu's Flavor is supposed to be slightly more upmarket than the Muthu's Curry at Suntec....

boy, were we happy to find it!!!...  look at their faces!....

our cosy corner...  we love the setting and ambience here...  much nicer than the one at suntec...  even their plates are nicer and more classy....

as usual, couldn't resist taking pictures of the flowers... but this time, it wasn't daddy who asked me to take, it was meeeee......  haha....  well, who can resist lovely flowers?....

beautiful, isn't it?....  well, at least it is to me....  :P

We left the restaurant feeling extremely satisfied....  Very good food, good ambience and good service....  Excellent!....  We will come here for supper one of these days....  but last order is 9.30pm which is a little early for supper....

in the car on the way home...  daddy wanted to be chauffeured today....  i took a photo of him when i stopped at the traffic lights...  the taxi driver beside me stared at me in amazement...  i think he must be thinking "OMG she's crazy?"... haha...

and home sweet home....

daddy was sooo relaxed that he's almost dozing off anytime soon....

Alrighty....  got to get ready for Chloe's and Charlene's birthday in a while.....
