It was a really last minute trip to Beijing that I had to make to settle some urgent issues there.... I was there from 17 April to 20 April 2010.... Weather there was great at 8 deg to 12 deg celcius and I simply love the coooool weather....
By the way, I have to clarify that although I do stop by to take some pictures (because it is my passion to take pictures and blog).... I do work hard too, especially in Beijing when my dinner on both nights were close to 11pm and then I was working from my hotel room till almost 4am...... but of course, I do know how to inject some joy in my work by taking pictures of my food, and stopping by to admire the various types of lovely blossoms *smiles*..... So if you realise, my pictures are mostly on food... No photos when it comes to serious work.... ahem ahem!

my hotel in wangfujing..... my room was not ready as it was way too early, so i had to go for breakfast and linger around the streets of wangfujing whilst waiting for my early check-in at 10am.....

I soon met up with my two bosses slightly before noon for lunch... The couple was quiet and situation was quite tensed when I first saw them, but they soon loosened up after seeing me.... :)) No pictures for the entire day since we were discussing serious matters......
imagine this was found inside the ladies toilet in chenxi mall where we had our shop.... i thought it was quite interesting to have tables and chairs in toilets, so i whipped out my camera and took a picture of it......
our very late dinner.... i love the place and food here, though it was a little smoky....

met my beijing colleagues for discussion as they were having lunch.... i didn't join them as i was still quite full from my early brunch....
Had several meetings with various colleagues within the office vicinity... Didn't meet in the office since I was dealing with various staff on various sensitive issues.... I was meeting with individual staff till almost tenish and then proceeded for dinner....

very good recommendation by my colleague.... yumz... i think many of my singaporean colleagues have been to this restaurant too....
my breakfast the next day at kfc.... it was really delicious... the hot soya bean, the warm egg tart & the deliciously tender youtiao (they asked if i wanted sweet or salty, and i said one each), only at S$0.60 each.... the prawn burger was special and not available here, but taste was so so....

wangfujing bookstore... amanda adores this bookstore, especially since she was there together with the group of pri5 peihwa kids when we were doing parent volunteer 2 years ago...

my super late lunch at beijing airport... didn't have much choice inside the departure hall, and food was not nice at all... should have eaten before i taking the tram to the departure hall.... i was actually eyeing the burger king.... *winks*...

look at the bland noodles... i asked if they had spicy noodles and they said they had chilli sauce for me... and when i asked for it, they gave me tabasco sauce.... haiz... how to eat this with tabasco?... so mis-matched...
Home sweet home... Flight home from Beijing to Singapore was around 6 hours and I arrived home way past elevenish on 20 April 2010, and immediately proceeded for supper with Daddy & Baby the moment I placed my luggage.... Shows how I value family bonding right?..... :)))
