UP Movie....

Amanda has a Movie Date with her classmate Rae to watch UP! This afternoon in the car when I went to Orchard Cineleisure to collect the Movie tickets for our two familes, Amanda was telling me so excitedly "WOW! Mummy, I am watching a movie with my friend for the first time.... I'm so young and I am watching movie with friends already... I AM SO EXCITED!!!"

The show was very hilarious and also very touching at times and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire show throughout.... However, Rae & family had to leave halfway through the show, so we didn't get a chance to take pictures of the two girls together. We had initially planned to either take it before the show or after the show... but before the show was not possible too as it was super peak hour rush and traffic was very heavy and we barely managed to make it on time for the show.....

After the show, we went to Newton Food Centre (yes, again) for supper. Today's experience was not very good. Firstly, we didn't get a seat of our choice and had to sit in a hot and stuffy place. Secondly, Amanda was frightened by a weird and drunk guy who was trying to sell tissue and she got frightened when he started singing her a song and then gave her a packet of tissue free when we did not buy it from him... He said he is giving it to her because she is so cute... Amanda got scared when she heard this and she started crying hysterically (which explains the photo below).... and lastly, Daddy's laksa didn't taste as good as previously. I guess the "Laws of Diminishing Returns" must have kicked in.... :)

After today's experience at Newton, we have decided that today will be our last time eating here, at least for the next few months or even one year.....

Amanda had a very eventful day today and her day started from 6am till almost 11pm where she had her GamesFest in school, Lunch with Mama & Darren plus playtime, Orchard to collect movie tickets, watching UP Movie in the evening and lastly supper.... Tiring day and very happy indeed for her! Anyway, it is a long weekend for her.... Rest & Relax.....
