Amanda and I decided to have New York New York for lunch today... my very first time here, and Amanda's second time.... her first time was during Darren's birthday together with KongKong, MaMa, EeEe and EePoh etc....
she loves here because of their free candy floss.... good marketing techniques huh?...
my hawaiin chicken... i forgot the actual name, but the chicken was really succulent...

and before she left, she asked the "chay chay" for another floss to be taken away and eaten in the car... haha....
In the afternoon, we headed to USS once again.... Haiz.... and it is on this "fateful" day that my less than 90 days old iPhone 3GS got splashed by water during one of the rides and "lost it's sight" forever.... :((

can you see how dripping wet my skirt was?... and the water on the floor which came from my skirt?.... and that was when my iphone got damaged...
and our dear amanda was just wet.... and not drenched.... but she told us she was very disappointed as she wanted to get drenched....

amanda's favourite ride... always very long queue, but today, we just ran and hopped onto the car... but the moment we finished our ride, we were shocked to see the crowd again... hmmm, sometimes it's just the timing...
mummy and daughter... daddy wasn't with us again, as we had split again... he has gone to take his favourite "revenge of the mummy" which was just opposite this car ride....

tea-ceremony... can you see the loooong tea spout... i wanted to order it, but the ceremony only came with 8-treasures tea, but i didn't quite like the taste... so i decided to give it a miss...
my favourite yam pudding with gingko nuts... but i felt a little short-changed as the quantity was soooo little... can you see it was only a quarter-filled?....
amanda's honeydew sago.... at least hers was 3-quarters full... haha...
and why do we like the food here?
....because they do not use msg in their dishes...... super healthy....

The outing today was a very happy one including our dinner at Hollywood China Bistro... and a very EXPENSIVE one too... cos my iPhone "lost it's sight" forever... Initially it was no lights and no sound but thank goodness after 24 hours, the sound came back... but till now the backlight is still not working... sigh... Brought it back to Singtel for diagnosis, but they said it doesn't cover water damage... so no repair or free replacement.... so no choice, i had to order online a new iPhone 4G from Apple... and the damage to me was S$888..... haiz....
Now anxiously waiting for the arrival of my new love.... :))
