Avatar (3D), The Movie

We watched Avatar (3D) a few hours earlier...  I have been trying to book the tickets online since 3pm and have tried all cinema operators including Shaw, Eng Wah, Cathay and Golden Village but almost the whole Singapore (I would say), was either fully-booked or system down....  Our favourite place at GV Vivo was no exception...  At 3pm it was left with the front 2 rows which we didn't want...  and by 4pm when I changed my mind to take it, the slots for the entire day was blocked out...  I searched various GV cinemas and in the end, I managed to get 3 good seats at GV Tiong Bahru but at a very late time slot of 10.30pm....

You may be wondering why Vivo is still our favourite....  Well, they've got large spacious waiting area, the seats are super comfy, you will never get blocked by the person sitting in front of you because of the well calculated height level, large arm rests which could be lifted up and lastly, there is plenty of leg room...  Not that I've got long legs... but it is just so convenient to be able to put your handbag on the floor in front of you and still have space for another person able to walk past you....

the show lasted almost 3 hours and ended close to 1.30am...

we were having so much fun in the cinema before the movie started... in fact, almost everyone in the cinema was busy taking pictures too... :)  love the colour of the glasses....

Avatar was such an awesome movie, especially the 3D version.  No wonder it got 4.5 popcorns out of 5 popcorns rating....  Very very good effects and we totally enjoyed it!  Amanda especially was super excited about the whole movie and remained very attentive throughout the movie and she says she wants to watch it again....  She was like rating it 10 upon 10....  haha!!!

Awesome movie and definitely must watch in the 3D version as you will miss out the special effects in the 2D version.....
