Amanda saw this colourful "Chart Teh" (not too sure how to spell this) and wanted us to buy it for her.... I used to love playing this when I was a child.... except during our times, the design was very simple. These days, it comes with battery operated lights... We tried playing with it but the "feel" is very different... it still can't beat those we had in the good ole days.....
amanda's colourful new "toy"....
she enjoyed playing with it for a while... well, her interest didn't last quite long though as after a while she got bored with it.....
my new dress!
heyo! look at my "chart teh"....
Amanda also wanted us to get her UNO as she saw her classmates playing and found it really fun. So poor Mummy here, had to go round looking for it.... Our first stop was Bt Timah Popular Bookshop which didn't carry what she wanted. Next we went to Fairprice Finest downstairs... We found it, but again she said she didn't like the UNO Attack or UNO Spin version. In the end, after sending her to school, I drove to Jurong Point as they had a very large Popular plus a few toy shops.... and I didn't realise Toys R Us had shifted out of JP... haha! Ended up seeing the version that she had earlier described to me, in Kiddy Palace... I thought the Monopoly looked quite interesting too... so ended up buying both!
amanda was elated when she saw the UNO, but she commented "mummy, next time can you please get me something for girls... this is too boyish"..... *laughs*
amanda happily playing her UNO... by the way, the Monopoly has not even been unwrapped yet....
