Our Surprise Guests...

Our surprise guests from New Zealand.....

Gu Ma and Gu Zhang called us on 29 September and told us they are in Singapore!!!  We were in a state of disbelief when we heard...  Daddy even asked "Are you sure?  Are they calling from New Zealand instead?".... HAHA!!!... YES, they were indeed in Singapore and not New Zealand!!!  They have decided to go on a 3-month holiday!!   It was a very pleasant surprise indeed.... 

Amanda was very excited about meeting Gu Ma and Gu Zhang.  She simply adores them and enjoys every minute with them....  Below are pictures of our Makan Session...  by the way, they are vegetarians, so the food below are all vegetarian food and they really taste yummy....

 we brought them to chun tin for supper... roti prata and teh tarik.... shiok!!!

it was almost 12 midnight and everyone still looks so fresh...

The next day, we brought them to Ling Zhi Vegetarian Restaurant for lunch.  Food was yummy and of good standard since they are part of the Tung Lok Group...  Presentation was great and nice ambience too!

Hours after lunch, Gu Ma and Gu Zhang were off to Japan for a 3-week holiday....  how nice... 

Back from Japan....

supper at old town white coffee when gu ma and gu zhang returned from japan and stayed over at our house....

they were very full, so they only drank coffee and coffee with tea....

The next day, we had vegetarian lunch at this Vegetarian Eatery.  Very simple set-up but food was good....

Dinner at Miao Yi Vegetarian at Coronation Shopping Plaza....

1st dish... cold dish... we were all so famished, and the moment the waitress placed the dish on the table, everyone started taking... including me... and i totally forgot to take a picture when food was served ... only remembered it when everything was almost gone....

2nd dish...  mock sharks' fin...

i forgot what this dish was supposed to be.... maybe prawns??....  i always have difficulty trying to guess vegetarian dishes...

Gu Ma and Gu Zhang have now gone for a cruise and will be back in a few days' time... afterwhich they will be touring China....
