Our sudden decision to drive to Changi Airport Terminal 3 for midnight supper... Our night bird darling was of course super pleased... and thank goodness she was able to wake up on time the next morning...  teehee...

Crabbies Again!

It crabbies time again... Where else but Mellben?!  Not much words needed to describe this post since the pictures speak for themselves...  :)  By the way, look at the crowd outside the shop waiting in the queue for a seat! Thank goodness we came early!

Decided to bake English Tea Cake tonight... Unfortunately, the heart shape didn't turn out as nice as expected...  Boohoo!

Matthew's Birthday, Cedele & Imperial Restaurant

Amanda was invited to Matthew's birthday today... Easter Day!  In fact, she had received 3 invitations today... 2 Easter Parties and 1 Birthday Party... I chose to let her attend the birthday since I knew Matt's mum...  Unfortunately (or fortunately?), she was the only girl in the class to be invited... so she felt kinda bored during the partee...  LOL!!

Dinner was at Imperial Restaurant at Vivo City... We decided to dine here after Daddy saw some documentary that Crocodile meat was Healthy and Healing and that it was available at this restaurant...

we ordered double boiled crocodile soup, another type of double boiled soup (i cannot remember it's name but it was supposed to be good for the lungs, braised crocodile tail (super rich in collagen), egg white scallops, veg etc... for drinks, we ordered minty drink for the throat (amanda ordered this specially for her oral exam the following day, but the taste was quite horrid), hawthorn for me and 8 treasures tea for daddy...

dessert was good! osthamus... everything served in this restaurant is supposed to be healthy and comes with certain health benefits...

Huat Kueh aka Steamed Cake!

Exam's just round the corner, yet my dear darling got so restless and bugged me to make Huat Kueh for her to bring to school.... Hmm, corrections, rather, she bugged me to let her make Huat Kueh....

Tung Lok

Yeah, we are finally trying something new...  Buffet Dinner at Tung Lok at Arena...  We've tried dinners at various Tung Lok group, but have never tried the buffet dinner at Tung Lok Arena, hence we got a little excited about this meal. 

It was an impromptu meal. Amanda got bored and restless and started bugging us for a nice meal out. We asked her for her definition of a nice meal... She said, somewhere not in Orchard, Chinese food, not crowded and rowdy, and MUST BE HIGH CLASS!  Wow, we thought for a while and finally came to a compromise at this location, and yeap, she was really pleased! :)

Minimum headcount was supposed to be 4 pax.  As we had only 3, we were required for pay for the price of 2 kids i.e. 2 Adults and 2 Kids, to make up for the headcount, eventhough we only had 3!... but it was definitely worth it as there was a good mix of Chinese and Japanese food!!

can you imagine we ate so much?! and lastly, desserts to end our meal... we ordered one from each variety as we really couldn't decide which to try... haha!

And..... all these yummilicious quality food, costs us only S$132.65~~~

Long Beach

We're almost running out of ideas for meals... So it's Long Beach for tonight!

ee ee smsed us with 2 maths questions from darren's homework, asking us how to solve it... daddy cracking his head at it... hey, maths these days is really not easy, hur! i wonder how tough it'll get when it comes to pri 6... gosh! *pulls hair*...

now... make a guess... which is soup and which is water for rinsing your hands? no prize for the right guess... lol!!

Qing Ming 2011 - A time for family get-together...

Time flies...  It's time for Qing Ming once again...

Followed by dinner with compliments from Daddy's uncle who owns a catering company...
