"Ta-Powing" Supper from Newton Food Centre.... lately, we have been quite lazy to go out for supper... Instead, we prefer driving out for car rides to "ta-pow" our food and enjoy our meal in the comfort of our home, watching television and eating.... :))
fried hokkien prawn noodles.... yummy.....
fried oyster egg.... not as nice as those we got from one particular stall at bukit timah market....
amanda had recess prayer session in school today, where they were given free bread for recess... amanda and her group of friends were a little "greedy" and cheeky and all of them ended up taking extra buns home... heehee... she actually took extra for me.... but i told her not to do it again...
Amanda was selected to be the Master of Ceremony (MC) during school assembly for "Chinese Week" on 21 July 2010.....
I love my darling's name.... 善良又美丽..... which means "kind and pretty"... hahaha..... and notice how the Chinese strokes match?.... :))
her short speech where she was given just 2 days to prepare....
looking so relieved after her speech....
and... she got this little "award" during her class acting session... haha... teacher these days really know how to motivate the kids....
amanda doing the "act cool" pose... can you see her sweat droplets?... yes, this was taken when she came back from school all sweaty...
going out for simple teochew porridge... haha i just said we prefer eating at home these days, and here we are out for supper... i didn't quite like this so only both of them ate it... and daddy said the variety wasn't interesting today, hence he ordered only so little food...
i wanted hot barley but they didn't have it and gave me cold barley instead... amanda ordered cold barley for herself without my permission... naughty naughty....
stopped to buy tid-bits from bee cheng hiang and then DURIANS.....
hehheh.... now you know why i didn't eat the porridge... hmmm, yes, saving for the durians....
Racial Harmony Day in school on 23 July 2010....
trying out the korean hanbok that godma bought for her last year... it was too small for her, but we got kakak to do some slight alteration... doesn't she look lovely in this?? we were choosing between the "chinese" outfit that her godma bought for her but daddy prefers the korean costume....
such a pretty costume... a pity this will be the last time she's wearing this as it is already a little too small for her....
kakak dressing her up for school today... while waiting for the school bus...
photo taken using amanda's canon camera....
