However, when the lady took out the "gun" Amanda got so scared and wanted out of it. The entire process took extremely long; almost 1.5 hours when the norm should have been 5 minutes! Amanda was trying to play with time, and then babbling this and that, and she even cried so pitifully; especially after doing the left side, she cried so pathetically and said "when the lady counted 1, 2, 3 the gun shoot me so painful..... sob sob....." She even struggled and pushed the gun away that the ear-rings dropped out of the gun. Amanda was offered drinks, sweets, sweet talks etc, but none worked.
In the end, one of the lady's colleague helped her and we got her right side pierced at last (after much persuasion and with some force). OMG!!! Imagine 4 adults holding onto her head and hands; plus another one talking to her to distract her!!! Didn't get a chance to take a photo of her right side piercing because I was busy holding onto her and she forbade me to do so too!

piercing of the left side (look at her facial expression)
Finally all was done! Thanks to all the patient staff in the shop! When Amanda didn't feel the pain anymore, she asked me "Mummy, do I look pretty???".... and she started shopping for ear-rings. I ended up buying another pair of white gold Dolphin Ear-Rings (it costs me S$88) for her to change into once her ears have recovered....

P/S : Special thanks to KATE on her recommendation for the ear piercing......
