October Happenings....

 October happenings.................

someone dropped her tooth on 1 Oct... bottom right: a collection of all her milk teeth....

bought more food and treats for tinker...

3 Oct... brought tinker for pawdicure and then to consult the vet for her rash...

6 Oct... made breakfast for daddy and amanda... and bottom right, finally tried gong cha... :)

15 Oct... sitting for SCGS entrance exam.. registration was early morning at 7am... by the time the 3 papers were over, it was already 12 noon...

15 Oct... smiggle stationery from daddy... and halloween lunch....

16 Oct... stayover at marina bay sands... it was psle marking day, so no school from 17 oct to 20 oct.... yeah!

18 Oct... GEP (Gifted Education Programme) round 2 exams... amanda was really very sick on both days... in fact on day 1, she was so sick that she quickly finished the paper, asked for permission to drink water and she then laid her head on the desk and slept till time was up...

20 to 24 oct...

bought for her heelys... they don't come cheap.... S$168...

old town... daddy representing amanda's school to attend the moe parents' dialogue session with sim ann...

29 & 30 Oct...

brought her to orchard to get canele's macarons... yummy...

can you imagine she was drawing on her own toes while doing revision? don't know whether to laugh or scold... lol!! after a while, she wanted to play the ipad next... haiz...

SA2 Year End Exam starts from 28 October..............

Happy Birthday To ME!

My birthday celebration this year was spread of 3 meals and I had 3 birthday cakes this year too.... Not bad huh?  :))

impromptu tea-time pre-birthday celebration at riders cafe....

red eggs and mee suah prepared by kakak to start off my day on 7 october... my first time having mee suah on my birthday... amanda bought me a birthday present... apparently she bought the present from her form teacher during a school fund raising drive....

birthday lunch celebration at ah yat.... with mum and dad and my extended family....  :)))

another cake for me.... and my pressies... a longchamp bag from my sis!  :)

dinner with my 2 darlings at shangri-la hotel... a pity i forgot to bring my camera out... so had to make do with the iphone....

Fun-Filled September...

Though this month is supposed to be a mugging month since SA2 is just round the corner, but it seems like it's an exceptionally fun-filled month for us... nothing much of studying done for my little darling.... gosh...

2 to 9 September....

lunch with cousin and ee ee at pepper lunch....

lunch at ah yat plus having fun watching doggies at play... and hey, we spotted a dog which looks like tinker...

lunch with kongkong, mama, darren and ee, followed by play with tinker at my house..

amanda playing doctor once again during kakak's bi-annual medical review...

misc : my mint and spring onion plant... time for mooncakes!... amanda playing vet to tinker... amanda preparing egg omelette for me.... :)

16 to 18 September...

lunch at ivins was yummilicious!

bought a yogurt maker... finally!... amanda making strawberry yogurt....

dinner at monkey cafe...

followed by johnny english movie and then supper at lau pa sat....  amanda trying to mimic johnny english...

brought tinkerbelle to the beach for her first swim...

20 September...

bought new play stuff for tinker... and as you can see, amanda is also having fun with it... lol!

24 September...

jarret's 1st birthday....

ema's first month. 25 September...

kakak's birthday... 26 sept...

tinker went for her sterilisation on 28 sept...

29-30 september.. tinker has friends over for play... yeah!

A New Member In Our Family...

Today's the big day where we welcome Tinkerbelle into our family... We got up early in the morning, all so excited...  Arrived Marie's house at 11am and brought Tinker home.... Michelle, Tinker's saviour, arrived at our place shortly to see if everything is alright with Tinker....

bed, toys, blankets, food, treats, multi-vitamins and even royal jelly shampoo for tinker... oh yes, we also got her the tiny green toothbrush to chew....  :)

setting up her "room" aka space prior to her arrival... by the way, her fuzzyard reversible bed is really comfy... look at amanda lying on it... hahaha....

the big day... getting everything ready to fetch tinkerbelle.... we brought a thank you gift for marie and a similar large carrot for butter.... :)  they're foster sisters afterall...

farewell photos with tinker's foster mum and sister of 16 days.... at this point, i was still feeling very fearful... scared that i wasn't able to handle tinker.... things were moving really fast and before i knew it, tinker was with us at home...

amanda was on cloud 9.... in a state of daze... boy was i worried if this was the right timing to bring tinker home as her sa2 was just round the corner...

12 Cupcakes and South View Pri Musical

23 August 2011...  Finally tried the much raved about 12 Cupcakes....  The verdict?....  Awesome!!!

amanda loves it a lot, especially the red velvet... i'm going to try their other flavours the next round...

Doggie Training Session for Us...

Today, Marie will be teaching Amanda how to take care of Tinker e.g. bathe her, walk her, clean her ears, trim her nails etc...  

Amanda had GEP screening this morning and had to stay back in school the afternoon for her Public Speaking training... So right after her school at 4pm, I fetched her straight to Marie's place... She snacked and changed in the car...

The entire session lasted till 9pm and by the time we reached home for late dinner, it was almost 9.30pm.... Amanda was extremely happy but totally shag.
