Prawning at Pasir Ris

It was 9pm at night and Daddy suggested that we go Prawning at Pasir Ris now.... We were all so excited about this idea as this is the first time we will be prawning....

We did not manage to catch any prawns at all after 3 hours!!! Seeing Amanda so disappointed, the lady in charge gave us 3 baby lobsters to bring home.... (didn't take a picture of it).... Amanda was overjoyed!

We enjoyed the prawning very much but just that the weather in Singapore is just too HOT and therefore didn't make the Prawning session too relaxing....

Winter Wonderland in the Eastern Triangle, February 2007

The BIG APPLE!!!

Why did we choose the Big Apple and the other states within the Eastern Triangle???..... it all started because of a GUESS Winter Jacket that I bought for Amanda during our staff Sample Sale which I got it at a really really good bargain... too good to believe!!!

Now that I've bought the jacket, I asked Daddy.... what shall we do with this thick winter jacket? We had actually planned to go Taiwan for a holiday. But this jacket will be too thick for Taiwan's winter... so.... i suggested that we go New York where Amanda can experience the icy cold winter and get to "show off" her winter jacket!!!

So..... NEW YORK NEW YORK here we come!!!

The flight to the Big Apple was a real challenge; especially for Amanda....

Amanda loved the Child meal on board the plane and had a huge appetite.... i was keeping my fingers crossed that she would not throw up. But... just before landing in New York, my babe vomitted... after this incident, i realised she will throw up if the flight lasts more that 10 hours....

Food Food Food.....

and more glorious food which we ate the moment we checked into the Marriot Hotel in New York......

After a good night's rest, we began our adventure......

It was freezing cold outside the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art... Look at the lady behind Amanda... for a moment we thought she was a teddy bear :)

Central Park where Amanda made her very first snowman..... Before the trip, Amanda was telling us she wanted to bring a carrot, 2 grapes and a strawberry to make snowman; her request was of course rejected by mummy....

But... guess what... she was sooo lucky!!! She managed to find a carrot in the park and that became part of snowman's nose!

Our lovely hotel room in Hyatt at Philadelphia... This time Amanda fell again... She was so happy jumping and climbing up and down the bed and down she fell from the bed, flat on her face.... OUCH!!! It sure was painful.... and she started crying.... poor thing...

We travelled from Washington to Philadelphia and then to Boston. Before we came, our friends told us that "DIE DIE MUST TRY" the BOSTON LOBSTERS... and WE DID!!!

Niagara Falls by day and by night....

This Eastern Triangle trip gave us lots of insights about US as we covered places like New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston, Buffalo and even visited places like the reknowned Harvard University and the Massachussets Institute of Technology. Money and time well spent!!!

4 Days 3 Nights Cruise to Phuket & Langkawi, June 2006

We have decided to take Amanda, KongKong & MaMa on a cruise. Amanda was very happy and excited, but at the same time very concerned. She asked "Mummy, will it rock a lot? Will I get seasick? Will I feel giddy? Will I vomit?".... all the "Wills".....

The day finally came..... We checked into the Superstar Virgo and Amanda had a really fun time while she was there. She didn't feel anything at all as the cruise was so stable. In fact she even enjoyed herself sitting at the balcony of the room and enjoying the seabreeze.

Our first stop was Phuket. We had sumptuous seafood by Patong Beach and Amanda enjoyed herself at Patong Beach.

Look at the sexy Bikini I bought for darling Amanda from a shopping mall in Phuket.

Our next stop was Langkawi. Amanda was exhausted after the walking and shopping. Look at her pulling a long face. She was so tired that she refused to walk anymore and just sat on the ground waiting for us......

Star Cruise organised a Gala Dinner on the last night of our cruise; which we enjoyed very much. There was plenty of good food and lovely music being serenaded to us. KongKong & MaMa enjoyed themselves very much too, especially being serenaded to the tune of "Beautiful Girl" by Josie Marie Chan.....
Amanda particularly enjoyed her bowl of "Mini Buddha Jumps Over the Wall". Imagine her finishing her own portion of the entire 8 course dinner!!! What a great appetite my babe has!
The entire cruise experience was very enjoyable.... we practically just "ate, slept & played" during the 4 days and 3 nights and forgetting totally everything about work.......
